Teeny Tiny Films was conceived by its principal Sam Forsyth in 2005.
After ten years in Wildlife and Science TV in Bristol and London, Sam was a dad-at-home and back in Teesdale. Teeny Tiny Films seemed to be a useful way of filling up his spare time (!)
Sam approached a number of local people key to the business’s development and encouraged them to join the Board of Directors. They were chosen for not only the personal skills they brought, but also the enhanced and wider community benefit that can result through their respective organisations working together. TTF was incorporated in September 2005.

Teresa Wilcox worked for 12 years as a Chartered Accountant in London and Essex. Moving to Teesdale in 1993 coincided with becoming a stay-at-home mum. She has since continued to use her skills to help various child-related organisations, progressing into Youth Drama and the Arts world.
Jill Cole – Youth theatre impresario and arts all-rounder. Jill has cast her experienced dramatic eye over many of the TTF projects as well as being an integral part of the production management.
Sara Cox - Trained teacher Sara first brought her boundless enthusiasm and gift with young people (and not so young!) to bear in the Feeling Fine on Film project, as mask maker, camera operator and young person’s cheerleader in chief. She is now producing films for us under her own steam. We like to think of Sara as our home-grown talent.
Alan Fentiman – Alan runs his own successful film company in Barnard Castle. Teeny Tiny Films gets to borrow him to make use of his prodigious website technical talent and his creative filmmaking abilities.
Richard Lawson – Freelance Camera operator and filmmaker with many years experience. Richard has lent his expertise both as a camera operator and as a filmmaker with experience of community film to a number of TTF films including supervising his speciality one take wonder film workshops.
Oliver Smith Filmmaker and camera operator. Working with Ollie is inspirational – a talent to watch. Ollie has been a stalwart of Teeny Tiny Films from the very beginning and contributes creatively to most of our projects. Ollie also runs his own film company “Ambitious Pictures” making features, music videos and commercial work.
